Google has launched its voice search service in Delhi and the NCR region. It was first launched as a pilot project in Hyderabad in April this year.

This is a local voice based search service, similar to JustDial. It enables users to find information related to business, restaurants, movies, flights and more by just dialing a toll-free number from any phone -- landline or mobile.

Users have to dial the toll-free number 1-800-41-999-999, which is answered by an IVR system (Interactive Voice Response System), where users have to tell the question or the information they are looking for. Once the information is available, users can either get the information sent to their mobile for free via SMS or have the information read over the phone.

This voice based search service is currently available only in English, Hindi and Telugu.
